Your first float is simple, private and completely guided. You arrive, you exhale, you settle in. Here's exactly how the ninety minutes unfold, so you can walk in already relaxed.
How it goes
Ninety minutes, start to finish.
Arrive 15 minutes early
Your Float Coach meets you in The Healing Academy waiting room in Suite 8, walks you through a quick waiver, and shows you to your private suite. No rush, no crowd.
Shower & settle in
A pre-float shower is part of the ritual (and required). Everything's provided: towels, earplugs, makeup wipes, shower products, slippers. Set your light, set your sound, and step in.
Float for 60 minutes
Lie back. The salt does the work. Rest, breathe, and let the water hold you. The first ten to fifteen minutes can feel unfamiliar. That's just stillness being new. Then it lands.
A gentle return
When your hour ends, the light comes up softly and the water begins to circulate. Your Float Coach checks in through the intercom. Shower, dress, and ease back into the world, slower than you left it.
Before you arrive
A few small things.
- Skip shaving or waxing within 8 hours (the salt will let you know if you didn't).
- Go easy on caffeine beforehand.
- Avoid a big meal 1–2 hours before. A light snack is perfect.
- Come as you are. Everything you need is already in the suite.
What it feels like
You stay in control of everything.
Lights on or off. Music or silence. Lid open or closed. You can sit up, open the door, or step out at any moment. Most people never want to. If stillness feels strange at first, that's normal; it passes. Nothing is expected of you. That's the whole point.

Cleanliness
This may be the purest water your body has touched.
Between every single float, the entire pod and suite are cleaned, and the water runs through a four-stage filtration process: mechanical filtration down to 1 micron, ozone, UV light, and hydrogen peroxide. No chlorine or bromine. The full turnover takes about 30 minutes, which is exactly why we leave space between appointments and never rush.
And the salt itself helps: at this concentration the water is naturally inhospitable to microbes. Our standards go well beyond what the industry asks. It's the part we're quietly obsessive about.
